The evolution of the previous identity involved a sophisticated refinement of the wordmark, coupled with the integration of a distinctive icon that embodies Redbird's core values. This new identity is designed to reflect the brand's dynamic nature, design-forward approach, innovative mindset, forward-thinking vision, integrity, and human-centric ethos.
The renowned Italian soccer club A.C. Milan has announced a strategic partnership with another iconic sports franchise, the New York Yankees. This collaboration follows A.C. Milan's triumphant return to form, securing their first league title in over a decade last season. The partnership was finalized through a 1.2 billion-euro acquisition led by RedBird Capital Partners, which includes the Yankees as a key stakeholder.
This acquisition marks a significant financial milestone for Elliott, the investment fund that took ownership of A.C. Milan in 2018 following a default by its previous Chinese owners. In commemoration of this landmark merger, I had the privilege of designing a special edition logo.
